Very, very cool. There's a picture of Neil flipping his hammer. I've never seen one of those before. That's awesome.

I do wish they were identified more/better. I can recognize some of the participants, but not enough.

Amazing photos, indeed.

You know, it is virtually impossible to find photos of Cowboy Neil on the Internet and yet here is a whole cache of them. Some of Keysey, maybe a Wavy Gravy, and the black and white shots of the back of the bus may have Weir there.

I suppose all the original members of the Dead must have at least climbed aboard the bus at one time, if not gone anywhere on it. Takes me back to Tom Wolf's The Electric Cool Aid Acid Test, and I read that when I was 15.

Great photos! I have seen the original bus (it's rotting on Kesey's farm) and been on the new version. It's still fun. Also, Ken Babb's son Eli looks EXACTLY like his dad did in those pictures. I just ran into Babbs the other day in the supermarket. He's still having fun! I ran into Kesey on many an occasion and he was always larger than life. Nice to see photos from the tests.
