I always here a hat tipping to "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" in that jam... Figure IMER was written in early 1970 at the latest since it was on ABB's 1970 album Idlewild South.

The Eye's 74 outro jam was a great question. I bet it had something to do with 2 drummers instead of just Billy. the sharp turn it takes on the D flat riff....easier with a one drum sports car than the momentum of the freight train beast.

Someone could ask him where the name "Godfather" came from! In his autobio, Phil refers to the Guild only as "Big Red" and later (post-Alembicization)as "Big Brown". Nowhere is "Godfather" mentioned. What gives?

I asked what advice he would give to the next generation of Jam bands since Bobby talked about it in Playboy. I don't read Blender, so if/when this is published, would someone post it so I can go out and take a look?
