Was anyone here there? A friend of mine went and said that during setbreak, some guy did a swan dive off the balcony and ended up getting carried off on a stretcher (didn't know if he was alive or not), and a few people he hit were either carried away on stretchers or in wheel chairs. He didn't have the full story because he was outside smoking or getting a beer or something, but he came in and everyone was talking about it.

That article was fairly negative in my mind; I didn't get a good vibe from the person who wrote it. Thanks for posting it, though; it's good to read all points of view.

I was there but really can’t provide much real information. During the break there was a gasp from the audience over on the right side where the balcony overhangs the lower seating. People were saying that someone jumped. But there were all sorts of variations. Someone jumped, fell, was pushed, tried to fly. Someone was dead, someone was not dead, etc. I was in the upper balcony, but since I didn’t actually see it, I’d just be continuing rumors if I made a guess. I didn’t see any police or medical personnel which seemed a little strange if something that serious happened. But something definitely happened. Thanks for the newspaper article. I had to get back to the Caribbean a few days after and I was wondering if anything made the papers. I saw Weir the next night in Berkeley and Phil and Friends were much better this particular weekend. Weir played about an hour. Phil’s show lasted about 5.5 hours (with the about hour long break after the incident.) Here’s my best recollection of the set list. Not necessarily in this order.
