When it doesn't fit anywhere else

Love 'em. Saw them two years ago at the Crystal Ballroom- one of the best, most energetic rock acts out there, plain and simple. Nice feature scene in the film I'm Not There too.

This is one of the few bands that can actually bring tears to my eyes. They've got the NYE show from 08 up and its wonderful. I haven't seen them yet. They're in Europe now. Hopefully they come to NE Ohio this summer.

Golden slays me everytime.

Watchin' a stretch of road, miles of light explode.
Driftin' off a thing i'd never done before
Watchin' a crowd roll in. out go the lights it begins.
A feelin' in my bones i never felt before...
Mmm... people always told me. that bars are dark and lonely
And talk is often cheap and filled with air.
Sure sometimes they thrill me
But nothin' could ever chill me.
Like the way they make the time just disappear
Feelin' you are here again. hot on my skin again.
Feelin good a thing i'd never known before
What does it mean to feel?
Millions of dreams come real
A feelin' in my soul i'd never felt before... mmm...
And you always told me.
No matter how long it holds me if it falls apart
Or makes us millonaires. you'll be right here forever.
We'll go thru this thing together
And on heaven's golden shore we'll lay our heads

My brother has been into these guys for awhile. He would always tell me about their new albums coming out and stuff like that. I saw then open up for Bob Dylan a couple of years ago at Red Rocks. They put on a great show and there were tons of people in the audience singing along to everyone of their songs. Seeing them perform live really increased my outlook on them.

I've been streaming them non stop at work for the last week. I really love what they do. I can't wait to see them. Hopefully this summer but I'm not going to Bonarroo. Last year they played for nearly four hours straight there!
