I recently saw Barry Sless using the RT-20 with Moonalice and it sounded absolutely awesome. Puts on its own lil' light show too!

Steroe rig or mono? I've heard folks with stereo rigs use lesli sims and they rock! But mono rigs just sound colorful, tasty, but not rotary sounding.

I have a real leslie sitting in my garage in need of a little repair. Too big to drag around, though. Loved what one used to add to Jerry's sound, though.

What hope is there for those of us with mono rigs? (serious question)

All my rigs are mono and they sound delicious!

IMO, rotary horns only sound great if:
1. you are hearing it from the box
2. it is multi-mic'd with a soundsystem to support multiple sound angles

Pretty sure he was running mono- his usual Two Rock w/ the huge 2x12 cab. Still sounded great.
