Hey all,
I would love to learn some more Little Feat, especially Spanish Moon, New Delhi Freight Train, Oh Atlanta and Sailing Shoes. I have a tab book (which has none of these songs) and I realize that much was done on multiple instruments, making it hard to work up for guitar, at least for me. Does anyone know of a tab site for any of these or have any tab? I've obviously checked Little Feat's site, Olga, 911, and all the usual tab sites and google and such. I find only chords to the latter two songs, which is of minimal help, and have found nothing for the first two. Any help would be appreciated!!

PS. I realize it's not strictly Dead stuff, but slightly related. Hope that's ok.

Paul Barrere, we talked shop for a bit He gave me his pick, there customized and have the picture of the talking shoe on them.

I do know some Feat tunes, in my kinda sorta way of knowing them, including the chord changes to Spanish Moon and Oh Atlanta. At work now, but keep an eye on this space, and I will post them soon. I do remember that Oh Atlanta starts off thusly-

E slide into F for intro, then a walk up , I think C/C/D/D#/E/F

Verses: F ( there's a place down Kentucky)
C ( right down near Ohio.........)
F ( people line up to watch them fly)
F ( watching those planes, I wish I was on one

Pretty sure that's it for that part, but I'llk double check and post the rest when I get home from werky. Great song, LUV the Feat! I always wondered why they didn't quite "make it big", they are such a supremely talented band, both now and in the original Lowell george days. Plus, they always had such a great groove to most of their songs.

I'm originally from Baltimore, and down there and around Washington, D.C., they were almost like the local house band for years, though. We got it. They definitley did very well in that area.

End on repeat of chorus parts, little bop at the very end is C/Eb/F repeated quickly a few times, then end for good on C/C.

I hope this makes sense to you when you try to use it. I've never tried to tab anything out on the computer before, I guess I should try to learn how to do that.

Speaking of the Feats, what do you all think of Paul Barrere as a guitarist? I think he's way under-rated and overlooked. If I needed a slide player for my band, plus someone that could also just flat out play, I'd take him over Warren Haynes any day. Don't get me wrong, I love warren too, but I think Barrere is just incredible.
