Haven't tried the cab. Wonder what it's made out of. They seem to highlight that the baffle is wood. Is the cabinet hemp, play-dough, recycled diapers...

The dude from Moonalice (the rhythm guitar/singer) used this cab for both acoustic and electric with one of those mini Orange heads. I was wondering if that was some kind of hemp composite cab material.

Of the other Moonalice players, Barry Sless used his Two-Rock head + 2x12, and G.E. Smith used his tweed (Fender?) 2x12 combo flipped backwards ( I wonder if its part of an endorsement deal with Eminence so people can clearly see he uses their Red Coat speakers? ) G.E. also had a Boss Compressor (modded?) and a MuTron Phasor I in his little rack shelf; Barry had a small "Q-Tron+" with SIX knobs that I had not seen before... on his first filtered lead break I could tell it was a Q (vs Mu)... he also uses a Budda wah, and a Boss rotary speaker simulator...and the Durham Sex Drive

Can't agree with that. Quite a few of the Eminence speakers are fine. Eminence's problem is that too many companies - Fender, e.g., - buy their bargain speakers in bulk and then throw them into disparate amps with insufficient attention to whether the speaker really fits the amp.

For starters, here are two Eminences I've owned and own now that I really like:

GB12: This one is a total sleeper - in my view, the most ignored and underrated speaker in the entire Eminence line. Modeled roughly after the Celestion Greenback but with 50W handling capacity and a much more solid bottom end, It is woody-sounding like an oboe. In the right amp, this one shines.

Red Fang: No, it's not gonna sound like a Celestion Blue. If that's what you want, buy one. But if you want a bit less chime (but still plenty) and a bit fuller mids, you might want to give the Red Fang a spin.

I just bought the Psychadelic Liberator and use it with a Dr Z Maz Sr 38. This is the most outstanding speaker cab I have ever played through. If you have a nice amp the Patriot speakers really let it shine. Very Nice. Look on the left side of the stage in this pic to see the amp and cab.
