So I just read that supposedly Phish is playing Bonnaroo. What is this? Jesus...

That kinda sucks. I mean, Phish doesn't belong at a festival with umpteen other bands... they should (and easily could) play their own 2 or 3 day events. Bonnaroo and those other mega-kitchen sink festivals seem nightmarish in their sheer attempted scope. But they probably make the promoters a huge nut.

I hope Phish doesn't play at Bonnaroo. I have been to a couple of Phish festivals and I have been to Bonnaroo. Bonnaroo=Nightmare . I think if Phish does this it is because they don't have the resources to put on their own festivals anymore. I can easily say that the Phish fests were way more fun and laid back than Bonnaroo. Bonnaroo is too much, in all areas. Too big, too many bands, too hot, too many drugs. I have been to many shows and festivals and I can honestly say that Bonnaroo is not worth it. I would much rather go to a smaller festival and see the same bands and have a better time.
