I recon bottom right is Brent and top right is Jerry. Thats as far as I'll take my ill-founded guessing.

this album cover used to scare me as a kid. now i cant get enough.

i heard that the band actually tried to record this album while they were really in the dark. a thought of mickeys. apparently it all just went to hell.

The real story is in Phil's book so I won't give it away.

But I'll say you are right, they did decide to cut the lights during recording.

Yeah, I've read about that recording process of the album in the book that came with Beyond Description boxset. And it was not recorded in the studio either.

They tried to apply the same process to recording Built To Last I think, but it didn't work out, then they decided to record their bits individually as they were tired of working in the studio....at least I think it was Built To Last.
