I just want to take a minute to thank all of the kind folks on this board...in real life I have a financial planning practice, and it hasn't been much fun recently...so Rukind is a wonderful place to escape...a place that where we discuss the really important issues of the day ..like Jerry's pickups or which scale to play in Sugaree or who is the best bassist in a grateful dead jamband in Pittsburgh....stuff that matters!!!!

Yup - Brad Paisley, I believe...REALLY good bassist - good voice, too. I don't know if he's still playing with them, or not. They rock. Good GD, REALLY good ABB, too. The last time I saw them (probably about 5 years ago, at LEAST), they did "I've Got A Feeling," from the Let It Be album - sounded just like the record....sickleberry.

Brad Rae. Played in Grinning Mob. They still exist but have only 2 original guys left. Brad is out. I jammed with them several times. Good band.

Pappy and I did a short stint with their old lead player and some other guys back in our pre-CAUSE, "Log Mountain" days. Good players for sure.

I start a very well intentioned thread and now my bandmates are in a fight over who's memory is better..

although it is a shame we don't record the endless debates we have at practice...we've argued about almost everything imaginable...like which year did the dead break out a tune and whether it is a Am7 or a C on and on and on..now they are mixing it up on this board....

Yeah this place is great. I have gotten a lot of help from you all whether you know it or not. This place is great for everything, especially knowledge about tours, shows, etc. this place has surely kept me in the loop!!!

I hope everyone understands that I love Tour Pro and I was completely kidding about everything I said. He's one of my best buddies and, even though we have our differences some times, it never gets "ugly".
