I'm guessing no one on this board went to any of those 4 shows this past week. Per Philzone, sounds like they were pretty sick events. Each one had a rehersal followed by a show. Lots of "new" tunes.

Despite plausible rumors that these would be warm-ups for the Obama gig at Penn State, apparently, they were warm ups for P and F's upcoming tour.

Barry Sless was there with Phil's regular line up (mostly) but no Bob Weir to be seen.....anyway, thought folks might be interested.

Sless is great, he'd be a really welcome addition (in my opinion) to play with the boys if/when they tour

Actually, there was a no taping policy which prompted a few people on the PZ boards to assume he might be planning to sell some form of those shows in the future.

That is usually the case when a band is going to officially release something or if they are filming. It is actually pretty common.
