When it doesn't fit anywhere else

Wolfgang's Vault just put up a Bob Weir Band show playing all the album material. The date says it's from Spring of 1978 so I guess that means Brent was in Bob's band first? Anyone? How did I never realize that? :D

Considering the lackluster applause he gets when Bobby introduces him it would make sense that he was not yet in the GD.

Here's the link. Pretty tasty stuff, especially with Brent in the mix and Matt Kelly guesting on harp.

I saw a show that January, I do nat recall Brent being in Bobbys band, he was on the album I think.
I see his listed on this date. I really don't think he was in the band in January, anyone know?

Weirbase, in Deadbase VI, has Mydland as a member of the BWB from 2/17/78 to 1/31/81.

Saw them in NYC at the Palladium(formerly the Acad. Of Music) They played the entire album from what I recall and they rocked. I always liked that album. Love the acoustic version of Heaven Help the Fool the Dead play on Reconing. Yeah Brent was in the band when I saw them.

Yeah, frankie, thats the show I saw, it was originally scheduled for December I think and the band was snowed in , in Boston, remember when it used to snow in december in NYC, , they played the whole album plus poisen ivy and around and around, it was my first exposure to the dead,(family), and honestly I liked it but didn't know what the big deal was, then I saw Jerry on 3/17 in NJ, and thought yeah this is pretty darn cool, then I went to pittsburgh on I think 4/18 and I was in the first row, speechless...the rest my friends, as you know is that
