I just noticed the New Riders are credited on Aoxomoxoa. Not as expected as seeing them on Beauty. Didn't expect the spacier stuff was their specialty. Some of the tracks are pretty crowded-- do you know which tracks the Riders are on?

It was David Nelson and John Dawson. David Nelson is quoted as saying during the early basic tracks for Aoxomoxoa Phil and Jerry sent Bob packing to go brush up on his chops. Nelson layed down alot of the basic rhthym tracks. Whether they kept them on the final mix or not is hard to say because it's so dense. John Dawson most likely contributed vocals or big chunks of hash, or both!
