Deal - Me singing, verse lead and 1st end lead - czyfingers last lead. This has a near train wreck at the 2nd verse lead - barely kept it on the track and I screw up the lyric, almost right out of the gate. tehe

Franklins - CF singing and me on the first few leads - kinda decent though it's certainly not out of the park - bagged the last verse

She belongs to me - Me singing and on lead - Another near train wreck around the last lead verse.

Minglewood - CF singing and we swap leads - me with the seemingly never ending volume issues as I change effects - I know, weak!!

Althea - CF singing, main riff and 1st and 3rd lead. Probably one of my weaker lead efforts. Sigh. Nice playing from CF

All but Althea w/ yet another (3rd) bass player.

nice guitar tones;the end jam distortion tone was cool ...liked how the solo started with a squeal ...the 2 guitars sounded good on the end jam ...

Thanks for the good words - One issue with the volume has been trying to keep it down a bit - all of us - so I guess I'm trying not to make it too loud. Need to work on this for sure.

I spared y'all a marathon China/Rider with some timing/chord change screw ups and a total transition train wreck as we were trying to work toward/into that early 70's D-A-Bm-A jam - oh well. As with all the rest there were a few worthy nuggets amongst the crap!! I think my rider lead was pretty decent.

I have never played a bass, and I don't play guitar all that well either. But, you guys are relatively local to me, and the stuff you have posted is awesome. If you have any plans to play out around the NYC/North NJ/Southern NY area, definitely post them. I would love to show up to a set!

Hey thanks a lot mick! Duly noted. I think were a ways from that right now (see still looking for a steady bass and haven't even entertained a Keyboard addition yet - though that's an as yet unfilled need!) but we'll definitely get the word out should it come to pass.

Hey Jedi... thanks for the kind words. Our last outing definitely wasn't our best.As Bill said, our lack of a consistent bass player is'nt helping.
As far as the recording goes, first, I have to tell you it's an ongoing battle with feedback, getting the levels right, etc. It's a small room and we make a lot of noise. I have 2 mixers, one powered, (for vocals) and one passive. The guitars, bass, drums are all mic'd individually and run into the passive mixer, then out of that to the jam man. The vocals all go into the powered mixer, direct out of that and into the jam man. I input the passive mixer into the mic input of the jam man, and the vocals into the instrument input. It works really well and is very detailed when I get it right, but it takes some fiddling.
