Is not a true Blackknife. I almost bought it at 7:00 am then I said to myself what am I doing? It's just a custom pickguard with a cool modgy neck. I have a guitar like that. Yes the pickups squeezed together is cool and very bob weir like. I can't remember any Blackknife having a selector switch. It's always been 3 way toggles. You can see in the Casio guitar that the selector was pulled and 3 toggles were added.

The Buffalo video that's a modified Casio. No way was that velcroed on. I was front row at that show. Bobby tried a midi unit on a Modulus and it didn't work, it wasn't responsive enough. He said the Casio was perfect and they just modded that guitar to Weir standards.

That last Modulus thread is the weirdest thread I've ever read here. Sorry if I don't get it.

Weird indeed. One last comment on the Casio, The pictures Rob Cohn is selling on ebay right now from Shoreline '89 show Weir playing the PG-380 with the Casio neck and a single coil in neck position. I'm sure Bobby had at least three of this gits at all times, some w/ black knife neck, some w/ wizard style modulus neck (Buffalo, Vault 111) and the Casio neck.

I do remember Blackknifes with selector switches. In the early days of these guitar they use to make slits in the walnut tops for the 5 way selectors. That must of been a pain to do. Bob's first guitar had a selector.
