Saturday night. I was finally able to see theCAUSE (though unfortunately it wasn't following a Pens game 7 victory).

I got there early and was able to chat with David and Mike (causebass and mttourpro) for a while before the show. Excellent recommendation on the pizza, I'm still thinking about it! Anyway, great bunch of guys in the band.

So with a stomach full of pizza and a tasty brew in hand, I sat back as they rolled into Iko Iko. Having heard the the clips posted here and on the website, I knew the quality was going to be good. It was a real pleasure hearing you guys live though. Great sound and Pappy, that guitar/amp setup you got sounds phenomenal. I really enjoyed the Althea, hell, I enjoyed it all, can't think of a tune you guys played that I didn't care for. The woman who did vocals, Jill I believe her name is, sounded very good.

Overall it was a great show! Great sound and you guys looked like you were having a blast (as was the crowd).

I'll grab the first round next show I'm at, all I ask is that you keep on playin'

Yeah, man, good times for sure. I'll certainly be at another show soon. I won't be able to make the shows you guys are doing in a couple of weeks, as I was telling Mike, I'm heading to Columbus to see Tom Waits.

I'll have to see what's going on July 4th weekend. I can't recall if I have something planned or not, if I don't I'd sure like to head out and party with you guys. I'll keep ya posted

I was quite happy with this past weekend. I haven't made it to any good shows in a while, but saw you guys Saturday and Yonder Mountain at Hartwood on Sunday. Not a bad weekend at all...

Hey, FYI, we will NOT (nor will anyone else) be doing JamBaLoosa at the end of June. The festival was cancelled...problems, problems, problems...none of which are mine, and so it goes.

HOWEVER, we DID take on a couple good shows if you're only gonna be in Columbus for the one night. We will be ACOUSTIC (just me, David & our friend Cherylann Hawk) at SCOOBY'S in Bridgeville on THURSDAY, JUNE 26th and ELECTRIC (full band, theCAUSE) BACK at McGROGAN'S TAPROOM in Canonsburg on SATURAY, JUNE 28th!!!

You would love the Potter party...trust me.
