Some kind soul recently sent me a pictures of about 20 Grateful Dead shirts from the 80s and 90s for my Band Shirt Archive project.

This one was instantly my favorite. Because of its obvious copy write issues I'm assuming this is a lot shirt. Would I be right in assuming that?

Either way, great shirt!

You are correct about that being a lot shirt. I checkedout those links. Nice pics, but they don't emlarge---something wrong with the site I suppose. Anyway, I was thinking about T-shirts I bought at shows (as I looked at that 85 tour shirt on the site which used to fit me ) and remembered that perhaps my favorite shirt I ever bought--a $15 dye in 85 and very expensive at the time---was made by a guy named Phillip Brown. So I google his name and syre enough, still doing the tie-dye thing. I thought you might like to see some of his stuff so here's the link.

Unfortunately, the guy who sent me pictures of the shirts didn't send me very large images. So there really isn't much opportunity to zoom in. Typically, I try and get the largest image possible so you can really zoom in on the graphics.

If currently has that shirt and wants to send me larger images that would be awesome.

I'm having a really hard time getting submissions to the site. You'd think I was asking for pint of blood. Either way, I keep pushing on, collecting shirts. I have good luck wandering the parking lot at Red Rocks and snapping pictures.

Great shirt, I love how Bob's eye's are bugging and bloodshot! There could have been some spittle flying out his mouth as well.
An offshoot of the T-shirts are the patches, I had a jester sewed onto a jean jacket, and one of the coolest images I ever saw was of a skeleton pirate coming out of a hatch on an old sailing frigate.
