I need new bridge pins. Does anyone have a preference as far as brass, plastic, ebony, ivory. Does it really make a difference

ive heard brass can give you more volume/sustain but i cant imagine itd be a drastic change. also heard good things about ebony and tusq (same as ivory pretty much but is animal friendly)

I just replaced mine with a set of allparts pins. They are rosewood with a m.o.p dot. I noticed that only the ebony and boxwood pins are on their site for wood. They were only a little more than plastic and they have a better look and vibe in my opinion. Of course you can get some sort of fossilised camel hip bone or the like for upwards of 65 bucks...
