Just getting something off my head. I absolutely hate this fucking band. All there songs sound the same, and they are posers. Just wondering if anyone else here agrees. Me and my friends argued with these little high school kids about it the other night, and I just want to know what you guys think.

100%. All their music sounds like one long song, annoying vocals, repetitive 1-5-6-4 progressions, etc etc

Not that im some kind of preachy "jam scene purist" or something, but it does kind of piss me off to see them increasingly associated with the scene (appearing in Relix, festivals, etc)

I agree as well, I can only take so much before I start laughing and change the cd. however, i cant say I never liked them, because their song "about an hour ago" was the first song I really got a grasp of the pentatonic scale with. BUT, that was a long, long time ago and they have really sold out since then.

I also agree that they shouldnt be part of the jamband scene, and dont really see them as a part of it. robert randolph should take their spots in some festivals over the summer

damn everybody i like OAR just fine. i dont consider them to be a jam band or agree that they should be associated with the "scene" or whatever, but i thinktheir music is catchy, melodic, and uplifting and thats just fine by me. i dont know what everyone means necessarily by posers, i dont know much about this band to begin with but i do like their music.

I usually just have a problem with any "white" band playing with the Iron Lion Of Zion behind them.It doesn't make sense.

they annoy me....my sister in law went to college with them....and she is like the are so big now its great. i dont argue..but i really cant stand them.
