ONE MORE GAME, PENS!!! Aaaaaah, so sweet to see players like Hartnell, Briere, Umberger and Richards so visibly frustrated. I would imagine that the Cryers will throw the kitchen sink at the Pens tonight to avoid the embarrassment of a sweep....BUT...inasmuchas I picked the Pens in 5 and was clinging to it (and it IS possible the Cryers win tonight, of course), I'm changing my tune and predicting a MONSTER game from Pittsburgh.
3-0 by the end of 1. 4-1 at the end of 2. Final score 6-2 after an empty-netter from Gonchar. Malkin scores a hat trick just to inflict fear into the upcoming Red Wings. Laraque finally gets to fight tonight as Darien Hatcher actually musters up the the gumption to take him on. Laraque drops him in less than 10 seconds into a pool Hatcher's own blood. Darien first goes for Malkin, but Laraque steps right in once Hatcher drops his gloves. It will be a bloodbath, in all likelihood, but most of the blood will be from the Cryers.
My most favorite thing out of this series is how Philly phans picked on Sidney Crosby for whining & crying - yet after EVERY GAME (loss), the Cryers phans are saying stuff like "measure that stick!" and "the refs are against us!" What a bunch of losers you all are (Cryers' fans)!!! YOUR TEAM IS GETTING PUMMELLED BY THE BEST TEAM IN THE EAST. Accept it. The sooner you do, the better you will feel.
