When it doesn't fit anywhere else

Hey All,
I am an 18 year old music junkie. My influences are the Dead, Nick Drake, Ryan Adams, Jackie Greene, and Bob Dylan... among others. I recently finished recording a CD of 12 original songs and started selling it on my campus. Been receiving some awesome feedback on it. The CD has acoustic/electric guitars, piano, organ, mandolin, drums, and harmonica. It also has a few different people singing my songs on it. I started writing songs about two years ago and have come quite aways since then.

I learned how to play the guitar from this wonderful website, and as a gift I would like to send my CD to whoever wants it. Y'all have helped my mature on my instrument and I am very grateful for it.

Send me your address in a private message and I'll send you the CD. The only thing I ask in return is that you listen to the entire CD and give me some constructive feedback. I am always looking to improve.

TRACKS:
1 On A Journey of My Own
2 Two Lives
3 Demure
4 Rainfall Trance
5 Daffodils
6 Junkie
7 Come to me in Silence
8 Leave Me Alone
9 Interesting Comment from a Bystander
10 Failed Love Song
11 Instrumental (slide guitar)
12 bonus track

THANKS!

i'd love to hear it! i'm 19 years old and i've been starting to write music as well. releasing a cd within the next year, our school's radio station offered to record it for me and help distribute and spread the music, so i'm hoping to go somewhere with it.

but why don't you just upload it? it's the digital age! it would prevent you from having to pay for stamps and all that hassle.

i know when i release my cd it's gonna be free for anything who wants it, but donations will be welcome to help me get better recording equipment. the internet is a great tool for all that.

keep the music energy flowing and can't wait to listen!

that would be ideal, but wont do it for 2 reasons-- it's the the process of getting copyrighted and i cant find any website that will allow me all that space.

as far as website to upload it to goes you could do rapidshare, mediafire, all those uploading website. you'd just have to compress the files into like a .rar.

and as far as the copyright goes, i wouldn't really worry about it unless you were dealing with record labels and all that, but regardless, having it in a CD wouldn't help the copywrite at all. same as having the electronic files of it.

anyway.. best of luck!
