Hey, I was wondering - the guys I have been playing with are going through a change. The rhythm player has decided to hang it up, and we are contemplating a new direction. Currently, I play bass, but the truth is I'm not really a bass player, although I think I'm getting better.
Anyhow, the lead player is quite good, and is not opposed to sharing. The two drummers are also very good, we have a good practice space out in Midlothian, and equipment.
I'm throwing this out there to see if there is any interest among the local heads in maybe seeing if it's something that you may want to look into. Guitar or bass would be fine, keyboards or a horn would be amazing. We are thinking we will still do some Dead, but we also want to start working on some originals and other covers in a more funky, jazzy vein. If you can sing that would also be great.
