I just creamed my pants. some guy on youtube (God) just posted the 3/23/87 show (hampton) in its entirety

I have long sought after a sbd (as some might remember my other thread) for this show to no avail as it is one of my favs ever. but seeing it is even better

This has always been my favorite althea, I consider myself a connoisseur of this song (might be my favorite jerry song) and I dare anyone to find one that jams harder then this, especially at the end. The jams are short, but strong and to the point

all the other songs of this show rock, im also fond of the Throwing stones and stella

The aud at archive isn't bad but a SBD is always nice. The dead should consider putting the entire vault online, make it subscrptiion.

that fall tour of 87 remains probably the most fun period of time in my life. It seemed as though all the stars aligned for me..lol I had a fun, pretty girlfriend, we did the whole tour in style and the boys rocked.

It was just a huge run of shows beginning in Red Rocks ending at the Philthy Rectum. Thx for posting the video, great memories!

I couldn't agree more, 1987 rocked! The boys had success and they were feeling good. The 3 nights in Providence were friggen' awesome.

holy wild horses!
Thanks for the link!

Wasn't it in Hampton 89 the GD played as the Warlocks? It wasn't this 1987 time, just wondering?

Yeah, the energy on those 1987 spring East Coast shows was tremendous - first East Coast shows after Jerry's coma. The third night at Hampton, in the second set with that Terrapin - for anyone that was there, I guarantee they still get chills listening to it.

I always enjoy seeing vids of shows I was at. Thanks for the link.

I agree with ya about that third night...wish that Terrapin clip was up. Bob and Jer strike rock star poses side by side and shred the coda. The crowd goes apeshit. Brents intro into Dear Mr. Fantasy just nails it.

Best Terrapin of all time! in my humble opinion. The spring 87 tour is just good time rock and roll, high energy every night. I think the under-rated gem of that run was in Hartford,Conn. Not an impressive setlist, but it is rocking from start to finish!

Good Aud. Version here.
