As far as the 4-21-86 show, I have been listening to this one a little recently admittedly tuning in to hear Brent on Let It Grow but then getting interested in the rest of the show. Some complain that Brent is "off" during the show, and I can't say that I blame them.

BUT, as I have said in another thread, I have been looking for an Estimated that I really like, knowing that there are versions out there that I love based on memories I have of traded tapes from the late 70s/early 80s. I thought this version was quite good. Brent's harmonies on the "Caliiiifooorniaaaa" parts are off key and way too strong in the mix, but ignoring that, it is a solid version.

From what I've read I gathered that Brent wasn't a serious drug user but had more mental/emotional problems, but he sounds fucking hammered on this song.
