So, here's an idea for a project that I've come up with over the last few weeks:
For each of the last three weeks, I've picked a year and listened to only shows from that year for that week.
So I was thinking, what if we made a 'year' or dead shows (obvi you don't get all 52 weeks...) and picked the 5 or 7 most representitive shows from that year.
Obvi, this will take a lot of discussion as everyone has their own opinions, and some people are more familiar with particular periods than others, but at the end of the day, maybe we'd have a good resource to point newbies to for stand out shows and have a reference for ourselves if we wanted to check out some shows from a an era that we don't typically listen to (myself looking for a decent 80's/90's show, someone else for 70's, whatever.)
Has anything like this been done before? What do people think?
Either way, I'm enjoying listening to shows from a single year for the whole week.
