Along with the boys, I've always like Zevon, even saw some shows of his (when he was sober!) and know that the boys liked him since they did Werewolves from time to time and on the Jerry box set there is a great version of Accidentaly like a Martyr. Zevon was an incredible songwriter and very influential. Check out the covers of his songs on Enjoy Every Sandwich--Even Springsteen and Dylan were huge fans.
Anyhow, I'm reading the biography written by his ex-wife called I'll Sleep When I'm Dead and he talks about Dylan coming to the studio during the recording of Sentimenal Hygiene and how in awe everyone was (REM was his backing band at this point) and Dylan tells Warren that he and the Dead are working on doing Mohammed's Radio. This would have been an awesome cover for them! Sure wish it would have happened!
