When it doesn't fit anywhere else

Hey RUKIND,

I just played for a group of people some songs I've written. I have been playing for about 3 years but feel that I have made great progress.

I was hoping I could get some feedback from some kind folks. Is the music OK? Harmonica? Singing? Thanks so much!

Here is the format of the song-- Its actually 3 different songs I've written fused into one (grateful dead style). It has a theme of the seasons.

It is 15 minutes long and is mostly chordal and rhythmic improvisations with lyrics and harmonica.

Part I: Winter - Slow paced with reflective lyrics

Part II: Spring - Lyrics and music touch upon the intensity of spring and thunderstorms bringing new life.

Part III: (Instrumental) Summertime - I didn't sing the lyrics because it didn't fit well, so instead I played the harmonica to try and get that "Happy-go-Lucky" feeling of summertime.

I apoligize for the poor recording quality.

Thanks so much!

I like your songs. The first I'd probably streamline it a bit, i.e. less of the chord progression before the verses. Maybe 2 reps then add harmonica for 2 or 3 more then the verses. I'm not sure I dig the tempo change but it could grow on me.

The rest was interesting as well. I liked how you strung them together, gd style.

You play solid rhythm and adding in the harmonica is pretty freakin good.

Bravo.
