....with six tracks on it, well, 5 not including the intro. The tracks are:

Love Doesn't Have To Be Pretty
Louie Louie
Gentlemen Start Your Engines
Devil With The Blue Dress
I Will Take You Home

Does this look familiar to anyone? Anyone knows when it was recorded?

 #3619  by strumminsix

Hmmm, no, it doesn't. The closest thing I thought was the Brent unreleased album with some Build to Last outtakes:

1- Inlay It In Your Heart
2- Tons Of Steel
3- Dreams
4- Maybe You Know
5- Nobody's
6- See The Other Side
7- Long Way To Go
8- Take One
FILLER: Built To Last Outtakes:
9- Start Your Engines
10- Blow Away
11- Take You Home
FILLER:
Silver
12- Instrumental
13- Climbing

If you are a Brent fan and would like this speak up! We can start a vine or a tree.

gentlemen start your engines is a terrible song

I like it, granted I only heard one version of it being played on a piano but still....

strumminsix, I don't know much about vines or trees, what do you mean?

It's a way of getting a recording to alot of people quickly.

In short...

Vine: Everyone signs up and I send the shows to person #1 on the list and each person sends it to the person under them.

Tree: Kind of like multiple vines whereby people signup, I divide the list by say 4 and send out the show to the 4 people in the top slot of the 4 groups.

Cool, I am all up for starting a vine or a tree

Well if a few others want it we start a vine!

Well give it until the end of the week.

If no one else wants it (their loss) I'll just send you a copy!

Hey strumminsix, any chance of that tape?

This is a good idea! I've already got that 5-song tape but not the one you have strumminsix. Can I get in this vine?

Here is also another cool Brent show. It's from the band "Go Ahead" which was Billy & Brents band while Jerry was in the coma and recovering. Some really cool stuff in this show, a crisp SBD. Enjoy!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have the pleasure to announce a tree for the distribution of a Go Ahead
show from Graffiti Showcase here in Pittsburgh. Go Ahead was a side band for
Brent Mydland and Billy Kreutzmann while Jerry recovered from his coma. This
tour included Alex Ligertwood and Dave Margen from Santana's band and Jerry
Cortez of the Youngbloods and Jesse Colin Young. The show was recorded on
the club owner's Nak and I got his masters to make my first gen copy (also
dubbed on two Naks). I have made copies of my tapes for a few people over
the years so the show is in limited circulation but thanks to Howard Gault I
am now able to bring it into the digital world. Lineage is SBD > MAC > C >
DAT > CD and sounds very nice indeed.

He was still recovering, yes, but Jerry had come out of his coma well before the Go Ahead project was formed and "went ahead". He was in the actual coma for just a couple of days. Still wish I'd seen them when they played Cabaret Metro...
