Paulee,
You are gonna dig this....

I have had Sirius for about three years and liked it much better than "Regular" radio. This past September (?) or so they kicked of Channel 32 The Grateful Dead Station.
I have literally not changed the station since then with the exception of when the kids are in the car... I let them change the station ... rarely.

Don't forget the online service you can get as well. With your subscription you can tune in from a PC. I'll crank it up in the house and let it go all day.
Enjoy.
PEACE,
Phil

I think it is called the Stilletto (SP).

I have the S50 (I think)....
The Stilletto has a GPS antenna on the unit itself. That means that you can receive the GPS signal when it is un-docked from the car. In other words,a GPS receiver is "Embedded" in the player. They also make a home kit that will allow you to hook it up to just about any device... I think my "Home kit" came with RCA jacks and 1/8" jack cables.
The Stilletto is a little pricey, however when my 15 year-old hits 16... He is getting my S50 and I am getting the Stilletto.
You WILL have fun with this.
PEACE,
Phil

Here is my edit....
With the unit I have today, the S50, as well as the Stilletto, one can record directly to the device. This is good, I have caught some (Versions of) tunes I've never heard before. downside... I have not figured out how to get them off of the Sirius device onto a CD, hard drive etc... I am almost certain there is a way, but for now, it's not that important to me. I'll get one of my kids to figure that one out for me...
PEACE,
Phil

Cool Phil...

Ya looks like the stilleto is the hot ticket...the S2 has a memory card slot then you should be able to convert to mp3 and download to PC!!!

Awesome...Sirius also has the "E Street Channel" very cool....and Stern!

I Loved it. The power input on my receiver shit the bed last week. One of the guys i work with put it on hair nation. I think that might have contributed to the break!

I'm losing my SIRIUS in 5 days because we are dumping DISH Network...I will dearly miss the GD channel. Listen to it all the time.

you'll really enjoy it. I almost never use my ipod anymore the stilhetto is great.

It's an amazing service, w/tons of fantastic programming.

... only thing i thought was a lil tacky is they upcharge you 2.99 a month if you want to listen to 128k content over computer. Since I use a soundcard hooked to my home stereo and i listen in the office i obviously want the 128k stream so I pay it.

My radio rarely changes from the GD channel, only to hear Jam On once in a while. I make the kids suffer! Last summer we took a trip to Yellowstone while Jam On was previewing the GD channel; they couldn't believe there were enough people like me in this world to justify an all the time GD channel. :o

I have had XM for a long time and have loved it for college sports and MLB. I am planning picking up sirius as well now.
