thought i'd reply to this again.

im listening to some stuff from the new Derek Trucks CD. its his best by far, and the best cd ive gotten in a while. if youre interested, check out the song sailing on. they got some pretty good versions on the archive.

p.s.-does anyone know where i can get the tabs for this song? ive found litterally every derek trucks song tab that i know on the internet, exept this one. and its bugging me. ive tried to figure it out myself, but cant get it just right

I think I'll throw 5/25/74 on my tape deck (yes...a TAPE!) today as my lady and I drive up into the Cascades for a warm soak in a geothermal spring! After that it'll be the southern Oregon beaches for 2-3 days... and lots of '72-'74 with a bit of '66 thrown in, and some live Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks.

im not gonna lie i've been binging on the dead for the past few months but other than listeng to them my playlist for life has been

allman brothers:(basically anything they have done i've been hearing lately)

neil young (same as above)

other than that the "off the wall" bands i've been paying alot of attention to are


pearl jam (from their ealy days to the most recent stuff)
and
U2 (mainly the late 80's to early 90's)

Coming up on Easter and I'm listening to Andrew Lloyd Weber's Jesus Christ Superstar. If you don't have religious objections and have never really checked it out I highly recommend it. Sis turned me on to it when I was about 10, we'd sing and trade off on parts and I've listened to it ever since. Great 70's grove to it. Musically spot on.
