I don't know for Jerry shows and I lost most of mine when a drive failed, maybe have 5 JG boots total.

I have that 12-9-91. SICKLEBERRY SHOW!!!!

It is just about flawless...beautiful mix, great performance, master players. It doesn't get much better than that show. Joe Craven is a god.

One of my favorite moments is in between the 3rd & 4th tune of the 2nd set (I think) and you hear the crowd start cheering and Grisman says, "When in doubt..."! They were obviously cheering him picking up a banjo, then he & Jerry do a banjo/banjo duet "Sweet Sunny South"....sweet.

Love that show....

Another GREAT moment from that show:

They just finish "Rosalie McFall", I think - and Grisman says, "That was written by Charlie Monroe, of the Monroe Brothers. This next one is by one of the Davis Brothers, Miles Davis," and they break into "So What?"

Yes, my copy is quite excellent as well....can't remember where I got it, but I LOVE it...it's on the ol iPod, too....

great thread. have been (obviously) a huge dead and jerry fan, not to mention david grisman who is fantastic, but... can't remember the song that really got to me that i heard them play. sorry, i guess i shouldn't be posting, just um, showering them in my praise if can't remember a certain song. errr, so good. both of them are geniuses.
