Its been a long time since I heard any Blue Cheer!
The only album I had was the one with Summer Time Blues
Get it just to check out.
Them hippies!
Guitar wise its cool-all 60s fuzz and some pounding drums too.
The video for SummerTime Blues is hilarious-All psychedelic and the guys hair are all long and you cant see their faces!

Yeah, the album with Summertime Blues was their first; Vincebus Eruptum (I can't remember the spelling) also the only one avalable.

actually, I've got two of their albums. Vincebus Eruptum, and Outsideinside. The first one has summertime blues, and a really rocking song called Out of Focus which is kinda like a Zeppelin rock song. Outsideinside has Satisfaction by the Stones, and The Hunter, by Booker T. Jones. Blue Cheer is a little heavier than most 60's band, and a little sloppy at times, but still kinda nostalgic. Especially since they shared the stage with the Dead a few times. You should be able to get both of these albums online (amazon.com i think), i bought both of them a few years ago. peace, michael

I bought the first album along with a Ten Years After album and TYA really blows Blue Cheer to the Moon. TYA is my favorite band next to Cream, AAB and The Dead.
The TYA album was Live At Fillmore East and I really suggest picking it up if you have some spare cash. Peace.
