Everyone has those short or long licks they know in the bottom of their hearts. you know it will sound good when you play it and it's something you take off on for a solo or improv, or fall back on if you get lost.

The goal here is to broaden everyone's improv/soloing vocabulary with licks of the people in this community. we've all learned jerry licks, bobby licks, page licks, clapton licks, etc, but it would be interesting to see the licks of ordinary people you couldn't find otherwise!

Here's one of my most used licks

This one is in the key of D:

E|---------------------------------------------10--12b14--12------10-----
B|-----------------8p7-----7--8--10--8--10/12-----------------12---------
G|--6h7p6-------7-------9------------------------------------------------
D|---------7/9-----------------------------------------------------------
A|-----------------------------------------------------------------------
E|-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Of course the goal here isn't to learn these licks straight up and just use them mindlessly, but to take them change em up into our own styles and do them differently as often as possible so they don't get stale!
