gotta be honest, jimi at the fillmore is my fav new years show to date >:)

I really like the 12/31/91 Phish show: Buried Alive> Countdown> Auld Lang Syne jammed as a scathing guitar solo... Also a really funny extended Wilson intro with somebody (Fishman?) miking one of those little novelty key chains where you press the button and it says "fuck you" "eat shit" "youre an asshole"... I oughta find that tape; I've had it since early 92!

On a little late to ring in the new year... did that with wife, 9yo son, 11yo daughter and two of her friends after a THRILLING double feature of Bad News Bears and Mr. Bean's Vacation (yeah, you all want to be me.. i can sense it )... but I watched the Jammies reruns on MSG network till dawn, which were absolutely amazing.
