When it doesn't fit anywhere else

so whenever i get a show and it doesn't have track names like automatically added by like itunes or whatever I put in the names. Then though it puts the songs in alphabetical order, messing up the jams and the flow of the show. I have used itunes and winamp and both of these programs do this. How can i name the songs without this happening, and i know you can just put a number in front and it will put the songs in chronological order, but thats a hassle.

PS. Anyone else going to Yonder New Years?

although it is time consuming, you can right click a track in itunes and click "get info" then go to the "info" tab and you can set a track number... you can also select a set of songs and do the same thing to select a total number of tracks for that disc or show and also set disc numbers... thats one way that i know

This was one of the things I hated about itunes when that's all friends would have on their computer. I've used winamp for years now and it's never put them alphabetically. Try using the playlist in winamp and not the music library.

in uTorrent there is a feature that will separate the tracks automatically, shows traded over the internet will not have the tracks named when downloaded. you will have to do that automatically.

here's the fix:

in winamp you can highlight the whole show, right click, select edit, then you can add the song name and show date and venue if you want. this way it will keep all the songs for that show together when you sort your library by show.

if you still need help, feel free to pm me...
