Well if TV shows are allowed, then the final episode of "Freaks & Geeks" has a great feature of "Box of Rain"; as young Lindsay discovers the Grateful Dead on her bedroom phonograph... thanks to her school counselor giving her a copy of American Beauty...same epi also has Ripple.

A year or so ago a TV series called "Brothers and Sisters" had Althea suring the opening and closing credits, as well as the scene transitions. No lyrics but it was clearly Althea. The show wasn't that bad but didn't last long.

One episode of Rosanne they discussed going to a GD show and seeing a 20 minute Truckin'.

Was that the episode where Roseanne found a 20 year old bag of weed and smoked it? :D It was a funny one anyway.

You would think theyd use My Brothers and Sisters from JGB for the opener. Woulda fit perfect clearly.

i notices that too, last week they played i shall be releases. I have noticed that usually the last song of the show is always pretty good. Some one on the show must have some good taste in music!

There is also an episode of Rosanne that ends with Not Fade Away and a dedication to Jerry at the end.
