Fantastic show with a great terrapin in it. But the audience tape is great with the awsome NFA chant in it.

Also harford conn march, ??, 87. Great show despite a so-so setlist imo. It rocks and the audience tape is killer.

Rango Keshavan's Frost Amph. 10/10/82 tops the list for me but also:

Jim Vita's Poplar Creek 6/27/83
anything by Jerry Moore, particularly Miami 6/23/74, Provy 6/26/74 and JGB Keystone 6/18/78
Barry Glassberg's JGB 6/16/82
and of course Jim Wise's heroic stealth-FOB at the Greek 9/12/81.

wow 8/6/71 is supreme, really great recording

spacehead333- yea tapers setup mics and recorded dead shows, one of the things the dead were famous for letting their fans do.

thanks alot tigerstrat.

Yes, AUDs as opposed to SBDs or FMs.

oh hey another fun olde AUD is 6/30/73 L.A. Universal Amph. ... excellent 73 show with very decent low end and also some fairly amusing crowd chatter through parts.

I've mentioned this show several times along the way. 3/9/81 is one of my favorites and available on the archive. Here's the link

The breakout of Unbroken 3/19/95. Not a chart busting show by any means, really, but just hearing the crowd flip their lid when the beginning notes are played is a must-have in any collection, IMHO.
