When posting images make sure the extension (.jpg in this case) is the last thing referenced in the string.

In the previous post you have ?v=0 after the extension and that is screwing it up..

Is that the Alembic? Everything about the body points in that direction, but I just cant place the headstock logo

The headstock was the only way I could tell who made it.
The Eagle is their symbol.

Alright I think I figured it out.
I just assumed that the eagle logo was theirs.
Seems it might have been something D.Irwin did.
I just checked this and got some of the story-

The Eagle on Phil's peghead is a Doug Irwin make. The Alembic logo has a hand protruding from a rain cloud holding a snake which is eating it's tail and encircling a retort (distill).

It's shaped like the Tiger. There's a photo in the Grateful Dead Gear book.

I was going to reply that the present-day "i"Bass does not have the moon background on the headstock, but realized that you could have meant that only later-built Irwins had the moon. In any case I suspect that the building of this bass was probably begun at some point well into the construction of Tiger.
