Okay, now this isn't even a subtle reference, but I
have to share it with all of you. In the season 3
finale of Weeds, the episode called "Go" the main
character says "Fire! Fire on the Mountain!", and
after being asked "Huh?" she replies "Grateful Dead!".:D

You wanna see some great GD reference in a TV show, then check out the final(two?) episode(s) of "Freaks & Geeks".

Weeds is alright...Wife-y loves it,so I watch.
Best thing about the show is the main chick.
Hot Hot Hot.
All in all I think cable tries way too hard to be "hip" or "cutting edge".
Its like they keep re-inventing crack.
Cant even stand the NFL network anymore.
:?

Nah, Nancy isn't for me. But give me that Israeli chick (minus the dildo) that Andy was banging. Holy shit was she fucking hot.

(drools) i'd watch this show even if it werent a reportedly good series, just to watch her. the only way i wouldnt watch this show is if i had to pay for it... so i dont. all the good series are on showtime and hbo now :-?

I have a friend in the business that says she's just as hot in person. I for one, would love to tap that. Weeds is a great show, but sadly after only 3 seasons it kinda feels like it ran it's course and is past it's prime.

An excellent showtime series is "Dexter", about a vigilante serial killer. I can't get enough of it. The psycho chick he was bangin' for a while is totally hot as well.

I concur!

I loved Weeds' first season, because it was funny,
dark,it was about someone who was doing the "wrong
thing" (dealing might not be immoral to many here, but
endangering your kids is), yet still was the hero of
the show. It has kinda lost the realism that was, at
least partially, there at first, but it hasn't lost
it's touch completely. I'll watch the next season. And
she is oooooh so hot!

bodiddley, you're so right about Dexter! Another show
with a "bad" hero, as the main character is a serial
killer claiming to be unable to feel emotions - yet
you really sympathize with him, especially since he
only kills bad people. Just finished watching season
one and it was great, I might even read the novel
it's based on - sounds like a good read!

The funniest part about "Weeds" is Kevin Nealon's character. When he was doing his little dance in front of the "shit" fountain, I about lost it. I loved when he was playing the banjo last week, mocking everything in sight.

The best banjo song he did was the "Superdome "song.
Comparing their rich all white suburb that burned down to the Katrina disaster.
Some good stuff.

Weedar, you are right about "Weeds". The first couple of seasons were cool because of the moral ambiguity of the whole situation. Now that the whole family is involved in the operation and everyone and their mother is aware of it, it just seems weird in a creepy way.
