i'm a huge brent fan, and this song is one of my fav's but i think jerry is having trouble on this one. jerry's a bit off.

brent was truely great to watch. what a shame...i remember when i heard the news after tour in 90 what happend, i felt like someone in my family passed.

hehe. I was there. Thanks for the pointer. Brings back memories.

Weird show. Never hooked up with my buds. The only Grateful Dead show I was ever at alone.

To me it seemed like everyone was kinda stunned when Brent took off. It was pretty crazy.

Great stuff.

I would have to disagree, 3-26-90 is the best blow away ever performed. the rap that Brent goes into is off the chain. (and if you listen close enough you can hear Brent do a bump, then giggle)

I think KrzyKat is on to something, 3-26-1990 is pretty amazing. I have not however heard the bump and giggle. at what time is that by the way? Two other impressive blow aways are 6-15-1990 and 7-16-1990.

That 7-7-89 is my fav too. What a freakin' great show.

Another great one is Miami 10-26-89. Heavy shit.

And don't miss the "Blow Away" from 12-8-89. Just absolutely excellent.

jerry just sounded pitchy and out of tune on certain riffs...i could never deny that jerry would not be into it..

Was at that show. Was a good one.Got some kind of flu at the shows before that.Foxboro? Some kind of virus.
A buddy came over the other night w/ a dvd of this show.Really brought back the memories.
Even the buildings they played in are gone.
Love Brent.
After he passed the Dead(ie,Jerry)went downhill fast.
Shame 'cause I thought after the coma the dead caught fire.Couple of years later and its all over.

After Brent passed I just remember driving around playing "Black Muddy River" over and over. I was so sad.
