Any fans of this game? I played it awhile back at a friend's house and it was a shitload of fun. They just released the "setlist" for Guitar Hero 2. I have to pick up a PS2 now.

So I bought a used PS2 and a new copy of the game (w/ guitar) last night after work. Let me just caution anyone who may be thinking of doing this--if you have your nephew's soccer game to attend the next morning at the ridiculous hour of 8:30am, do _not_ buy this game the night before. :)

Needless to say, mr. and mrs. jck_strw were up till 3am last night playing this game and my nephew is officially upset about me missing his soccer game this morning (he's 5, he'll get over it). Tons of fun. In fact, a buddy of mine came over and played as well using, you guessed it!, an rukind pick!

Highly recommended for anyone. I can't get enough of this game. I've been playing all day as well, but I took a break to get online and let everyone know. :)

so anyone have #3? How you liking it?

I got it a few days ago and have been playing it a good deal. Finished the career on medium, working on hard now. Not sure where to find a complete setlist, but the songs are pretty good. A little more metal than I'd like but I expected that. Here are a few of my highlights:

Nice timing. I was just thinking of posting something on GH3.

I bought it and finished it on Medium. I haven't been back yet to try it on Hard. A lot more master tracks this time around, but there is an over abundance on metal songs. It definitely seems easier this time around. There's a lot more leeway when you can hit a note. Makes the hammer-ons easier, but it might be a little too easy now.

Some really good songs in there this time around. My wife maintains that the first GH was the best one (song-wise) and she may be right (although I'll be loathe to admit that to her :) . The final song (during the credits) of GH3 is absolutely insane on Medium. I can't imagine what it would be like on Hard or Expert.

I'm looking forward to Rock Band though, although I'd have to buy an Xbox360 or PS3 in order to get the Dead songs (since I think they'll be available as downloadable content).
