It blew me away. I went with a bunch of friends and we all had a group trip there. It was amazing, the atmosphere was great. I had first row aisle seats and got to groove all night long without any trouble from the security. Bobby looked and played great. Some real friendly old dead heads were passing my group joints it was pretty sweet. Highights of the night were Mission in the rain, money for gasoline, west LA, Candy man, deep elm, mexicali, sugaree->lovelight.

to be honest i dont like bobby singing those jerry stapels, Mission, Candy Man. hell id pay to see bobby if he started doing the songs he sang and not the jerry stapels...

I love hearing Bob sing those Jerry tunes... we've got 30+ of Bob singing Bob... Bob singing Jerry adds something fresh and new imo

especially the heartfelt tunes like Ripple.. or when he gets to "...but I'd rather be with you" on Standing

Is Mark Karan back yet? Steve Kimock is good and all, but when I saw him filling in for Mark I could tell he doesn't know the songs all that well and was just kind of following along. MK is the man.

marks not back yet...hes doing well so far with cancer tretment and hopefully will return as soon as he can...i cant stand kimock most of the time.his tone is usually so bunk..except his lap steel on candyman sounded sweet...mark karan is amazing and one of my heroes in modern music

are you serioussss, i think kimock has an amazing clean tone... never heard something so crystal clear. it's one of my favorite tones aside jerry's late 80's tone.

I was there, and it was a blast

weird thing is I went with my aunt (She's only maybe 8 years older than I am, sorta grew up with her like a sister)

Thing is, she' is an Assistant DA in Reading, so it was sort of like being on both sides of the lines at once. She was just there to have a good time, but you can tell she got a little uncomfortable when people kept coming up to me asking me if I wanted any hash (Came up to me because I look like the 'type' i guess). I'd just say "No Thankyou" and laugh at her because she was so fuckin stressed over it

She did take me up and introduce me to the cops that were working peacekeeping outside the doors before it opened. She knew them all personally

Bob played great. I thought he did Candyman very tastefully, I didn't mind him playing a "jerry" song at all.

I had to leave halfway through Lovelight, and I'm sorta bummed I missed Ripple. Good show anyway, but Ripple is one of my favorites.
