What do all you ween fans think of the new album? To be honest, i wasnt that impressed the first time i heard it, but its really starting to grow on me now, which is the way ween albums usually do. I saw them last week at promowest and it was completely fuckin sick. One of, if not the best show ive ever seen (i never saw the actual dead, calm down), just completely amazing.

Im not a big fan of ween, i saw em at bonnaroo, and i think that anyone can do what they do, i dunno just my opinion

I dont rele think that bonnaroo sets do a very good job of showcasing the bands ability though. Theyre alot shorter, not very intimate, and u arent familiar with the bands songs prior to the event. Alot of people dont like ween tho, so to each his own

I kind of felt the same way when I first listened to but now I can not stop listening to it, much like all of their albums with the exception of Quebec which I thought was gold the first time I listened. I think there are a lot of great tracks on La Cucaracha, to take Ween too seriously is missing the whole point which is why I think some people don't see the genius behind it all.

Of the tracks on the album I think Blue Balloon is one of the best tunes I have heard in some time. And if people don't like us talking about Ween on this forum, "Get out of my way you wee bitty fuck, if I pull out the Claymore you're shit outta luck."

i got a brief overview of the new album from my friend, listend to a few songs all the way through and some part-way. nothing really stuck out for me as being characteristically ween-like. the songs are a lot more mellow than the pure goofiness of the other albums. agree on the blue balloon, definitley a good song, probably my favorite of what i heard.

the songs that got me into ween were voodoo lady, transdermal celebration, freedom of 76, baby bitch, zoloft, stuff like that. i would say the new album is quite different, but i am sure it will grow on me.
