Sorry, I don't sell these things, just hear about them and like them. I have the first one and it's all studio stuff, so I am assuming the second is all studio, as well. And don't know if they include leads or not. Usually dvd's like this start out with easy songs and then get harder so beginners and intermediate alike can enjoy them. Bearing that in mind, I would guess that some of the first songs don't have leads, but some of the later ones do. Again, just a guess. Caveat emptor.

The title suggests that there is some instructional material on soloing on these tunes ie. legendary "Licks".
If you have seen the original, does it cover scale/modes?... any song specific theory?... or is it more of a "put your finger here" type of thing?

I ordered the dvd;but dont have it yet.I have the 1st one and its the same guy.The 1st ones not real deep on theory;the guy might mention the scales being played.He plays the parts slow and fast.No tab.Both hands are shown.I think the guy is pretty good.
Someone else asked if the examples were studio or live cuts.Its a toss up.On the 1st dvd you get Europe 72 China cat;not the album version.For Shakedown it was the studio version buy he threw in some live riffs,which was cool.So on this 2nd one, I guess(hope)the Bertha is from the album Grateful Dead.U.S Blues and Scarlet B's are prob. from the studio.He seems like a Head and not some hired gun,so he knows what is important to the song.
I loved the 1st one;cant wait for the 2nd.Peace and have a rockin'day...

I just ordered the first dvd of the legendary licks. I just started to pick up my guitar again so hopefully this will only help encourage me. I'll post a review on it after i get a chance to use it. Assuming the first one is good I might check out the second.

Oh Yeah. I am gonna get this. I liked the first one alot. I just wish some Backing Tracks were included. I would love to have the tracks he uses to Jam . . oh well
I dont miss the tab as bad as I would luv a backing track or 2, I dunno.
Still the first DVD was pretty darn good.
