Holy Toledo, Batman! Jerry is just rippin' it up. I generally hate his cover of this tune but this is something to behold.

Impressive vid,
I have to say it amazes that people are suprised by how awesome Jerry was, even on a site dedicated to his music. Listen to Jer's career, unlike the other members of the dead, I think Jerry played almost everynite of the year(except in later years). He developed and nurtured his talent, and it still shows, JERRY ROCKS, I miss ya Jer

I think this is my 300th post so I'll make it count.

I would take Jerry Band over the Dead any day of the week.

So how long until I get rid of Wavy Gravy?

jam im referring to starts about 5:30
Interested what you meant by "older JGB". You mean "newer JGB" (which as I see could mean one of two things "92-95 JGB" or "post-Jerry JGB") somehow rocks harder?

oh I was actually referring to the lifetime of the band...meaning they were older

I posted my last comment before actually watching it lol. Yes it is seriously fuckin nastttty. Thanks for showing that one. Ive heard a number of sick jams from them like that though. Lots of "Think"'s get pretty intense. Look up the one from Waikiki 1990. He tears it uppp! You know whats rarer though? JGB doin heavy space. Listen to some Lonesome and a long way from home and there are some realllyy spacey jams.

I think some of the "Don't Let Go's" got pretty out there.
