Trey was on fire all night. He lead that band amazingly. Jackie must have been sick or otherwise stepped down to Trey cause I dont recall a single Jackie song. But Phil was on, and Trey was on fire, and then there was Larry Campbell on hot leads. Unbelivable set list. I dont remember it all but I think the first set was all Dead, and with a killer Bertha to close the first set . . . . Dark Star . . . Wharf Rat . . . lots of Viola Lee Blues . . . Cumberland . . . Unbroken Chain . . . Pride . . . Help>Slip>Frank . . . encore Box . . .

Best Phil show ever. Discuss!

Yeah Campbell was pretty solid on fiddle with FOTD as well. He played great. The energy in that place was through the roof!

I can't believe you passed this show up!!!! :? :? :? :? NEVER pass up a possible appearance by ANY member of Phish - part of their recipe is the element of surprise! Awww man....I don't mean to make it any worse, but I do feel bad for you, esp. since I think you said you've never seen Trey. I've already ordered the SBD copy from Phil's site...can't wait to hear it.

don't worry nothing too special....1st set was sick, enjoyed the unbroken chain and in and out of viola lee and cumberland......other then that it was def a good show but not one for the books for me....it was worth putting up with trey for that unbroken chain.

The first set was clearly the highlight. It got a little too Trey in the second.

Hell yeah, the place just went wild, how awesome is it to close a fully dead first set with a killer bertha? I mean it was great.

syracuse kicked ass! phil was on fire all night. unfortunately a skinhead rent a cop caught me smoking. this sick pig punched my friend and choked me before smashing my bowl. it was partially my fault for getting caught but i dont think i deserved a fucking choking!. thankfully the idiot was dumb enough to leave us alone while he got the rest of the police and we escaped to different seats. gotta hate concert police

Saturday night glen falls 10/20/07.....top 3 best shows i have ever been to. Only 28 so never saw the dead in there prime or even close to their decent years. But i did see alot of phish and its funnt because the friday i left for glens falls from new york city i started a thread 3 best live performances you attended.

well 10/20/07 is in my top 3 now. But i love phish and i love trey. And a sober trey saturday night really created some amazing jams. They were tight, they all followed and listened to each other, when it was trey turn to shine...he really did. He really took those jams into spme psychdelic places and then all of the sudden bang right back to the main melody line with the band following right on point.

Wish i could have went to cuse, i heard it was great. But missing last years beacon trey show, and having it on my ipod and listening to it once a week really made me want to see a trey/phil show. Yes i saw 6 of the 06 summer tour where try came out, but nothing came even close to what happen saturday nght at the civic center. Best GD based concert of have ever seen.

the unbroken chain is unbelievable!! trey really hits his peak there
