OK, so I've had this snippet from some show for years, I always liked it (guess that's why I've had it for years).

Does anyone recognize it? Can you tell me what show it is from?

You can stream it here:

Or d/l it here

Thanks for trying.

Hey EB. I want to say it sounds like it might be related to playin, possibly heading to drums. Thats my best guess after one listen.

I could be COMPLETELY wrong on this, but some parts of it hinted to me at a The Other One jam? maaaaaybe hearing some traces of cryptical in there? then again i could be so far off it's not even funny...

Thanks guys. What I'm really looking for is someone who an say "I know what show that's from!"

I know that it is unlikely I will find that, but hey.....

Hey, I know it's a long shot, but I figure SOMEONE out there has heard the show......and it is a pretty cool jam.

This is a good jam...

It sounds early, like 68 or something...do you know the year at least? howd you come across it?

I'm sorry I dont know the jam... the five second mark kinda sounds like "wrap the babe in scarlet.." etc..then it kinda sounds like playin...but then it kinda sounds like the other one... but then it kinda sounds like they took some hardcore acid.

Howdy phreaker.

I don't know the year, and I don't recall how I came across it. Not much help, huh.

Okay, I think we can piece this together if we all work together.

Let's try to deduct:
+ era
+ song out of/into

Then we can all work to get the answers.

So far, here is what I think:
Brent on keys nice balance of synth, keys and organ
Mid - 80s
Jerry is smokin' so I'm guessing 85
Sounds like Bobby is an"Easy to Love you" out of time intro around 1:30s in a very distorted guitar sound.

One more clue this is either a MARTRIX cut or BETTY Board.
There are alot of these, but will help to deduct your way through.

If you don't know, these are both recording styles that mix the SBD with AUD.

Nice jam. It's one of those very familiar sounding ones but totaly fresh at the same time. I would guess around mid-early 80's sometime.

oooooooh-eeeeee! this IS exciting! i did recognize this as well, about the 1:30 mark when that weird loud screeching/wailing starts to be heard in the background. for some reason, it is VERY familiar in my brain.

i hear this coming out of the wheel. listen to some of the opening notes and tones used by JG around :15 seconds in....very Wheel-ish.

this is going to force me to go straight to my recordings when i get home from work today to try to figure this one out. i can't wait!

It's definitely a Playin' Jam> Drums, and everything in it says to me "1985-1986, outdoors, West Coast". Irvine? Ventura? Frost?

And it sounds like a great AUD to me, not a matrix or board of any kind.

5/4/86?
6/14/85?
6/21/87?
4/28/85?
