Thanks to all of yall for the ideas. I think we've settled on C.C. Although Lucy and Casey were close behind. In the end, I think I'll see which of the three fits her best when I get her home.

She's getting spade(sp?) this morning, and she comes home tonight. I'll post a pic or two.

Thanks and bunch guys.

ps. How did Kirstie Alley not make my top three? Its almost like a good reason to over feed an animal

I've had three cats. I took Felina with me when I moved out from the 'rents and in with a bud. Then took her when I moved in with my eventual wife. At that time I was working for the town doing street and traffic light maintenance and we got a call about a cat stranded up on a street light. Grabbed her down and the house she came from was nearby but the lady had something like 20 cats and she asked if I wanted to keep her; enter Valerie.

A few months later my wife comes home with a cute little jet black kitten who she pronounces Jerry (in a shameless effort to offset any opposition I'd have to a third cat) and then there were three. Felina and Jerry have since past and Valerie is the old gramma of the house.

As brain dead as it sounds, when I named the first Felina I was obviously thinking of El Paso but did not make the 'feline' 'felina' connection until a friend mentioned it. Duh.

A good friend also named her cat "nutty" (short for poster nutbag)....I kept it simple and named my cat "kitty". Pretty creative, eh?
