I just bought a Washburn D10S, and that has a solid top, for $300 and it's a pretty nice acoustic. I also have a Ibanez Proformance and that's also a nice guitar.
PigPen...Please don't forget to let us know what you finally get...Here's my last pitch for the Martin DX1!...No matter what you decide good luck with your new guitar and have fun!
Wow, thanks for all the replies, ive narrowed it down to about 3 guitars. I had some business to take care of, so the guitars on hold for at least a month or so. Ill tell ya what I get, thanks again
Have you checked out Blueridge guitars? I can't really speak much on their playability, since I'm not a guitar player, but they sounded fantastic. And the owner of the store just talks them up to me constantly (He's a friend of mine and knows I'm not going to buy an 6 string, so I think its safe to say its not a 'sales pitch')
