Ive always liked the Chilis, lately Ive been watching all these spontaneous jams that Flea and Frusciante come up with in the shows, you'll like this stuff even if you dont like RHCP

Those jams are killer, thanks so much for the post. John and Flea are amazing musicians, way better than most of there Chili Pepper work shows off. For more cool jam, check out their stuff on youtube with Omar (I think they call the trio the 3 Amobeas).

These are awesome!

Funny how bands as apparently different as the GD and RHCP can intersect at ... jamming ;)

I love the Chili's. Only seen 'em once (in '95 I think). Early in My Dead days I turned on a youngin' to the GD which he turned out getting fanatical about and in turn, he turned me on to RHCP. I wish I could get a hold of that guy. Anyway, my understanding is that a couple of guys in the band RHCP were into the Dead for a while.

as someone who was a diehard peppers fan for years before getting into the dead i can honestly say it's not that impressive. their jams are intensely preplanned, with the same changes and shifts everytime. wankathons are neat, but when i want one i'll go to my moe collection

meh it doesnt matter to me if theyre planned or not, I still like the notes coming out of Johns guitar
